Understand that healing is a continuous journey. Sometimes you may feel as though you are making progress and then something happens that causes a setback. This can result in us being very critical and harsh with ourselves. Writing allows for a reflection of progress on your journey. It enables you to work through and release negative energy while identifying triggers. However you choose to release, always remember to be gentle and forgiving with yourself.
A dark night of the soul is classified as an extremely difficult and painful time in one’s life. Usually after going through a dark night, there is an awakening.
When you think of the “F” word, what is the first thing that comes to mind? On second thought, don’t answer that. I don’t want you putting your mind in the gutter.
